Principal Physiotherapist
Dr. Alexander K.
Alexander is a bilingual (Mandarin) physiotherapist who graduated from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy, with a background in Human Science, majoring in Human Movement from Macquarie University. During this time, he was highly involved in providing care at hospitals and private practices with the mindset of returning clients to their previous level of function and greater.
Over the years, Alexander has applied these experiences to his work, allowing him to build a strong understanding of musculoskeletal injuries. This enables him to tailor unique treatments to each patient. Alexander prides himself on understanding and uncovering the root causes by having a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist clients in their recovery. He has a particular interest in neck, lower back, knees, and tendon injuries.
Alexander frequently manages chronic neck and lower back conditions and is often sought out for second opinions by other health practitioners regarding his management strategies.
He has worked with the Ryde Eastwood Hawks Rugby Club, a semi-professional team, in the Ron Massey and Sydney Shield Cup as a senior sports physiotherapist, helping treat and triage the team members within a multidisciplinary team. He has also assisted the NSW Police Force as a physiotherapist as part of the RECON team, the NSW Police in-house physiotherapy team. He is also currently serving in the Army as a Physiotherapist part-time whilst he works in the clinic. He has since served and assisted with the ADF national Netball yearly competition from 2025.
Alexander is skilled in dry needling and can provide sports-related taping and sports injury management as needed.
Throughout his career, Alexander has enjoyed various sports, but nowadays, you are most likely to find him bouldering, playing basketball, or partaking in Hyrox events.
